Seminars and conferences focusing on topics of broad concern and featuring nationally recognized speakers are presented several times a year. These intensive one-day and multi-day programs are offered at central locations and benefit physicians from throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Physician Well-Being Conference
This annual conference is dedicated to providing physicians with the skills to manage change in their personal and professional lives. It is also an opportunity to interact with others who are doing similar work, to exchange program and curriculum ideas and to begin to study and develop positive methods of re-engineering the work settings of northwest physicians to promote their well-being and personal growth.

Pain Management Conference
This course combines lectures to build knowledge and workshops to build skills. It is appropriate for both primary care physicians and specialists who treat chronic pain patients.
Beginning January 1, 2006, most licensees of the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners must complete 6 hours of education in the management of patients with chonic pain and/or who are terminally ill. (In addition, a one hour course must be completed online.)
